Asbestos Removal Technicians Ltd is a Wellington based company that have been operating independently since July 2016.

Billy Knowles the Managing Director had been working successfully in the Demolition and Asbestos Removal Business in Christchurch for five years before returning to Wellington to set up his own Asbestos Removal business in 2016.

In Christchurch Billy worked in a family business of Asbestos Removers in the aftermath of the 2011 Earthquake. The experience and knowledge gained in Christchurch while working in extreme circumstances, tight deadlines and a heavily regulated industry was invaluable. Working alongside the Building Industry, Insurance Companies and most importantly Residential Home Owners taught Billy and his team the importance of happy, satisfied Customers who could continue with their building projects and their lives in confidence that the Asbestos had been removed.

Asbestos Removal Technicians Ltd are Work Safe Licensed Asbestos Removers with a Class A Licence. We have two Work Safe Licenced Supervisors as well as four CoC Licence holders and a Dedicated Team of Labourers all supported by two Admin. Staff.

Asbestos Removal Technicians Ltd will undertake Residential and Commercial work in the Greater Wellington Region. We have recently undertaken work in Palmerston North and will also consider other North Island Regions.

We ensure that our Technicians are trained and updated regularly and are familiar with the current health and safety procedures including the major rewrite of laws and regulations of 2016 involving the safe removal and controls of asbestos in NZ.
